Welcome! College Street Congregational Church is best visited and experienced in person, but we are trying to use current technology to extend that invitation. Our UCC Church in the heart of Burlington has a small staff and, in the spirit of our Congregational roots, is governed and largely run by our members. The content of this website is reflects those many voices which make us such a unique body of faith. All are welcome to worship with us. Among our membership are peoples of many faiths who have found a welcoming, intellectual haven in our regular Sunday worship. Some come for the music, others for our strong mission, and there are those who enjoy our Christian education programs. Please tell us what interests you. As our most recent pastor David Wright said, "You’ll find laughter and tears, beginnings and endings, and abundant activity. We believe that no one is too old or young, too rich or poor, too early or late, too perfect or flawed to be a part of Christian community." "We believe everyone is valuable, has something unique to offer that enriches the whole fellowship. The Spirit is active in the lives of each one and will lead us as a church. We can all learn from one another. So it’s good to question; we can disagree. Together we can change the world and our lives for the better," he concluded. I've lived around the world, but never found a church as welcoming as this one. It is a contradiction of constant evolution and yet steeped in tradition.
