The Prayer Team

Barbara Shaw-Dorso and Pat Morgan lead us in prayerful consideration of our work through College Street Church. This daunting project and ambitious campaign require prayer! We are all blessed by the many unique ways in which we pray, a reflection of our diversity at College Street Church. The prayer team has provided a daily devotional guide and bookmarks and asks that we each spent a few moments each day thinking about our church family, praying for others within that family and asking God, “Dear God, what would you do through me to accomplish your vision of our Church?

Eternal God, we give thanks for our heritage, for those whose vision established and built this church we call our spiritual home. We give thanks for those in our church family past and present who seek the will of God in their lives and live it in their homes, work, and greater community. We give thanks for those who have a vision of our church’s future. Be with us in our dreaming of all that we could accomplish, then put our sacrificial gifts and our hands to the task of going Forward with Faith to the glory of God)
